What is required before a user can run an app in Power Platform?

In Power Platform, before a user can run an app, the app must be shared with them. This sharing process ensures that the user has the necessary permissions to access the app and its underlying data. When an app is shared, the app owner assigns specific user roles or permissions, allowing designated users to run the app, interact with its features, and utilize the connected data sources.

Other options do not align with the sharing requirement. For example, local installation isn't needed for Power Apps, as the apps are typically accessed through a web browser or mobile application. Requesting access from an admin is not a general requirement for all apps, as many can be shared directly by the app owner without needing admin intervention. Similarly, creating a new user profile is unnecessary since existing users can be granted access without creating new profiles. Thus, sharing the app is the key prerequisite to running it in the Power Platform.
